The chemical complex enterprises accounted for about 25% of regional non-resource exports, or $ 215.3 million (100.8% compared to the same period last year). Supplies of plastics and plastic products increased by 14%, and detergents and lubricants by 30%. Silicon carbides and magnesium hydroxide hold leading position in the field of inorganic chemistry (an increase of 114.8% and more than twice, respectively). The largest volumes of chemicals from Volgograd were delivered to Kazakhstan, Belarus, Turkey, Poland, Germany, China, the Czech Republic, India, and Hungary.

To recap, during a working trip to the Volgograd region, the Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov highly appreciated the achievements and future expectations of Volgograd enterprises, noting the successful work of the Governor Andrey Bocharov's team on the regional industrial complex development.
